No not at all i guess its just takes getting used to like any new programe. but i think it really user friendly. i mean im not to go good with photoshop compared to some people but i think i prefer it to some other art programes

Wow, the hair is just.. amazing! o_o I really love it, it looks brilliant, the shading is just perfect everywhere! :3

thanks im actually really proud of it. i worked on it for a few more hours after submitting it just touching up bits... i could work on it forever , i understand now why some painters and artists can take years to finish something cuz this ... i just i'd see something that didnt quite look right and blend it a tad bit more or add a few more darker hairs or something untill it got like around midnight and i told myself to stop haha the thing is ... anatomy aint always been my forte and considiring the line art for this was from a crappy sketch i did in class now that im done with the head i .. kinda dont know where to go with it. meh i think ill leave it or maybe attempt a back ground .. i dunno. haha your amazing with backgrounds really amazing and your anatomy is good. i can just about half ass portraits meh erm i'll see what i can think of or i might just ask someone to collab or something ( haha just the background cuz i suck )

Hah oh yea I know what you mean, it's just so annoying picking out something you missed earlier over & over again X3 But it's worth the time when you get great results like that :3 I think just a simple background would look good so that it doesn't take attention away from the main subject, or you could extend the picture just a little bit from the neck maybe.
Actually most of my backgrounds I use are hand painted & then messed about with on PhotoShop |D I'm no good at making backgrounds on the computer X3 & I think the only reason I'm good at anatomy is because I almost always use references from photos I've taken or drawings in books, someday I will be able to do it without though, someday.. |D

hahaah yeah your right as far as copying something from observation goes .. pshhh well easy. ( should really find a reference for stuff BEFORE i draw em) but winging on your own .. ah well ... and the human body is so hard to remember i mean ive looked at tutrials and stuff but yeah never mind. its funny though you can always tell when something looks wrong even if you dont know HOW its looks wrong XD. meh about the back ground its not even whether its drawn by hand or not . i just simply can do backgrounds XD. i mean if it was a landscape or something even building and i hate buildings but at least its like something there for you to draw. but like those really cool fancy background with shapes and swirls nd random stuff ... i just cant do em^^ i dont relly know where to start thats all.
